A Modern Brawler Masterpiece

Some games grab your attention the moment they're announced, and Absolum was one of those games for me. After following its journey from the 2025 Steam demo to its eventual Xbox release, I finally cashed in a mountain of Microsoft Rewards points and jumped in. What I found was far more than a nostalgic throwback—a modern beat 'em up that captures everything I loved about the arcade classics I grew up with while confidently pushing the genre forward.
