With my newfound After Effects and Cinema 4D skills, I began exploring my style and started a journey to blend the worlds of 2D and 3D.
I learned UV mapping so I could hand-paint my 3D models, steering away from glossy 3D in favor of stylized 3D,
also known as NPR (Non-Photorealistic Rendering), popularized by Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.

I also began exploring motion capture (Mocap), which was made famous by Andy Serkis in his performances as Gollum in The Lord of the Rings and Caesar in Planet of the Apes.
In addition, I experimented with rotoscoping animation to create more fluid and tactile 2D animations.
These techniques allowed me to speed up my workflow and develop creative solutions that neither 2D nor 3D could achieve independently.

Alongside this, I began sharing my findings by writing articles for School of Motion and recording tutorials on YouTube.
