I had the joy of being asked by my friend Like Mikes to create the music video for his new track "River Dance". The song was about Mike's personal trials and how he leant heavily on God to pull him through what was possibly the most painful period in his life. I decided to visualise that as a journey on the road. I sketched up some illustrations in Adobe Photoshop based off some photos reference I took of Mike in his car. I stylised and refined the illustrations in Adobe Illustrator. I rigged and animated the animation using Adobe After Effects. Using Maxon Cinema 4D to model extra 3D assets. In the post production process I colour graded the video to further marry the 2D & 3D to giving what I found a pleasingly unique look.
